About me

Hubert is a legal adviser and is one of the most experienced experts in the field of international taxation of mergers and acquisition in Poland. He specializes in cases concerning transactions of acquisition of Polish and foreign business entities, tax-related aspects of ongoing operation of companies, partnerships and natural persons conducting business activity, issues connected with succession in its broad sense including family foundations and penal fiscal law. 

Professional experience 

Hubert has over 25-years’ experience in tax advisory. He started his professional career in 1998 and until 2013 he had worked in tax departments of firms of so-called “Big Four” companies. In 2013, he joined the Enodo Team as a partner. 

Hubert is an expert in the field of income taxes. He specializes in: 

  • ongoing tax advisory;
  • conducting tax audits; 
  • due-diligence analyses;
  • providing tax support for the sellers and acquirers of business entities and real estates;
  • tax settlements of transactions; 
  • designing and implementing organizational procedures reducing penal fiscal risk;
  • securing tax position of taxpayers by means of obtaining individual tax rulings;
  • assistance connected with succession planning including establishing family foundations;
  • conducting tax proceedings.

Hubert has an extensive experience in solving tax problems typical for various  market sectors, i.a. new technologies, construction and real estate industry.

His clients were both the Polish entrepreneurs and international corporations operating worldwide. 

Publications and lectures 

Hubert is a co-author of  the series of books„Podatki” („Taxes”)  – a publication by Wolters Kluwers Polska SA issued every year and dedicated to current tax regulations and practice of tax authorities and administrative courts. 

He is also an author of numerous tax-related publications in both daily press (Rzeczpospolita, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna), and professional tax periodicals (Przegląd Podatkowy), he was a speaker on various seminars organized among others by Polish Cosmetic Industry Union (Polski Związek Przemysłu Kosmetycznego), Commercial News (Wiadomości Handlowe) and many others. 

Hubert has been conducting workshops, trainings and lectures in the area of income taxes, with particular emphasis on issues characteristic for energy, and real estate sectors.
