About me

Izabela holds a degree in economics from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics and a degree in philosophy from the University of Warsaw. At Enodo Advisors, she serves as Director, overseeing the team responsible for CIT tax. As an experienced manager, she has successfully implemented and supervised a wide range of projects for both domestic and international entities, including those operating within international capital groups.

Her primary specialization lies in providing ongoing tax counsel, with particular emphasis on ensuring optimal tax positions, focusing on corporate income tax and withholding tax matters. She collaborates daily with representatives from accounting and finance departments, providing support in the design, implementation, and tax settlement stages of recurring and non-standard business ventures. She also provides transaction advice, liaising with internal legal departments at clients and external law firms.

Professional Experience 

Izabela has 20 years of experience in tax consulting. She commenced her tax career at one of the prominent Big Four companies, where she spent nine years in the tax advisory department and also served as a manager. She has been with Enodo Advisors since 2014, developing the CIT practice with the Managing Partner.

Izabela leads and coordinates the following types of projects:

  • ongoing tax advice on current issues (hotline)
  • drafting tax opinions
  • securing the client’s position in withholding tax settlements
  • drafting requests for interpretations
  • tax reviews to identify tax risk areas (comprehensive reviews ordered by the client, reviews as part of financial statement audits, due diligence)
  • drafting amendments to contracts
  • tax litigation (including court litigation)
  • implementation of tax reliefs
  • tax strategies

Industry specialization 

Moreover, Izabela has experience identifying areas of safe optimization of current settlements based on solutions provided directly by tax regulations and established tax practices in CIT, VAT, and PIT. She is also skilled in designing and implementing safe and legal optimization solutions. She conducts projects spanning diverse industry sectors, with a particular focus on information technology (IT), renewable energy sources (RES), manufacturing, medical, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries.

Seminars and publications 

Izabela has authored numerous articles and publications on tax issues. She has been repeatedly recognized in Rzeczpospolita’s tax advisory ranking and consistently named among the top five specialists in the CIT category from 2019 to 2024.
