About me

Tomasz is a certified tax advisor with almost 20 years of professional experience. He specializes in goods and services tax. Tomasz also conducts projects related to income tax and local fees/taxes.

Professional experience 

Tomasz graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Lublin (UMCS). He also completed postgraduate studies in accounting and auditing at the University of Warsaw.

Tomasz gained his first professional experience in Big Four companies and Polish consulting firms. Prior to joining Enodo, Tomasz worked as a senior specialist in a company dealing with natural gas distribution, where he was responsible for CIT and VAT settlements.

Tomasz has been with Enodo since July 2013. On a day-to-day basis, he provides tax advice in the area of goods and services tax and VAT settlements. He also has experience in calculating corporate income tax and conducting due diligence reviews.

Tomasz specializes in tax consulting, in the following areas:

  • drafting tax opinions in the field of VAT and CIT
  • designing tax procedures and MDR reporting
  • preparing applications for individual tax rulings, binding tax information, statistical classifications and appeals to administrative courts, including the Supreme Administrative Court
  • preparing and verifying VAT settlements and Intrastat reports for entities with their registered office in Poland and entities registered for VAT purposes in Poland
  • conducting tax audits and due diligence studies
  • representing clients during tax inspections, verification activities and VAT refund proceedings

Lectures, awards and prizes 

Tomasz has an extensive background in conducting training courses and workshops on goods and services tax. For several years he has been preparing and co-leading a series of webinars discussing the most important VAT issues, with a special focus on the doubts and problems of clients in the construction industry.

His expertise has been recognized by Rzeczpospolita, a leading Polish newspaper, which named him one of the top five tax advisors in the field of VAT compliance in 2021. In the years that followed, he consistently ranked as the best specialist in this field in Poland, achieving the same distinction in both 2022 and 2023 (ex aequo award).
