Tomasz graduated from Economics Faculty of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and Postgraduate Study of Accounting and Auditing at the University of Warsaw. Tomasz is a licensed tax advisor and possesses many years of experience in the area of tax advisory, in particular in the field of value added tax, gathered during years of completing various types of projects for his clients, being Polish entities and multinational corporations. In addition, Tomasz has extensiveexperience with the calculation of corporate income tax and preparation of VAT settlements of both Polish and foreign companies.

Professional experience

Tomasz has over 9 years of experience in tax advisory, with particular emphasis on the value added tax.

He gathered his experience working for the Big4 companies in Poland (KPMG, PwC) and Polish consulting companies. Prior to joining Enodo Advisors Tomasz was a senior specialist in Polish Gas Company which is part of the capital group of PGNiG, where he was responsible for preparation the calculation of CIT and VAT.

On 15 July 2013 he joined Enodo Advisors team as an Associate.

Tomasz is a specialist in advising on various types of tax issues, covering:

• preparation tax opinion in the field of VAT, CIT, CLAT and real estate tax;
• carrying out tax reviews and due diligence projects of the companies that are market leaders and preparing final reports;
• preparation applications for individual tax interpretation (tax rulings) and complaints submitted to the administrative courts including Supreme Administrative Court;
• preparation and verification VAT settlements of the companies with registered offices in Poland and companies registered for VAT purposes in Poland;
• preparation of Intrastat and contacts with customs office;
• representing clients during tax audits and verification activities made by tax authorities;

Industry specialization

Tomasz has extensive experience in the real estate sector, with particular emphasis on real estate transactions. In addition, Tomasz has broad experience in preparing tax returns, the current tax consulting, tax reviews and due diligence project of entities from various sectors, including: medical and healthcare, construction, real estate, energy, finance, FMCG, IT and telecommunications.

Seminars and publications

Tomasz conducts training on issues related to the value added tax for clients in various industries. Tomasz is also the author of articles and comments in this area.
