About me
Marcelina is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University, with a degree in Administration. She is a certified tax advisor with over 10 years of professional experience, primarily in the field of value added tax (VAT) and excise duty.
Professional experience and industry specialization
Marcelina developed her professional career mainly at Big Four companies, where she managed and supervised numerous projects for both Polish and international clients.
Her areas of expertise include ongoing tax advisory, preparing tax opinions, reviewing and commenting on contracts—particularly for companies operating in the construction, automotive, transport, and financial sectors, including entities within international capital groups. Over the course of her career so far, she provided advisory services on excise duty, mainly for clients from the energy and fuel industries. Currently, she is also expanding her knowledge of excise duty with topics concerning entities in the alcohol industry.
She supports clients in securing their tax position by obtaining individual tax interpretations and provides representation during tax audits and proceedings before tax authorities and administrative courts.
She has experience in complex tax compliance reviews to identify areas of tax risk. Marcelina also performs VAT efficiency analyses of international supply chains.
Publications and lectures
She is the author of numerous tax-related articles published in both general and industry-specific web-based press. She has also performed a number of open training sessions on VAT and excise duty.
