dr Piotr Herman
Senior Associate
Piotr is an attorney and holds a PhD in Law. He defended his doctoral dissertation at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. Piotr has gained tax advisory experience working in international consulting firms as well as prestigious Polish tax law firms. He has also taught as a university lecturer at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn and WSB Merito University in Warsaw.
Professional experience
His main areas of expertise include tax advisory services focused on issues related to corporate and personal income tax, as well as withholding tax. In his work, he collaborates with internal accounting and legal departments. His areas of specialization include:
- Ongoing tax advisory (hotline),
- Comprehensive tax audits,
- Preparation of tax opinions,
- Support in fulfilling withholding tax obligations,
- Drafting applications for individual tax rulings,
- Designing contract amendments.
Piotr also has extensive experience in assisting clients during tax proceedings and disputes. He leads numerous projects for entities in various sectors, with a particular focus on IT, renewable energy, manufacturing, and finance industries.
